Room 11 have been working last term and this on some art based on the work of Raewyn Harris. Here is some of her art.
The children sketched their koru and the back ground plants. Then they went around each part with a thick vivid line. I taught them how to blend pastels and finally they used indian ink to paint the background. Here are some of our finished artworks.
I shared some with Raewyn and she posted them on her facebook page. How exciting!!
