Week 7 - Book Week - Dawn McMillan Visits Valley
This week is Book Week. We have had the book fair in Room 23 and lots of fun activities happening around the school. Mr Goulstone, Mrs Bentley and Mrs Grey zoomed into our class to read stories to the school. The children entered a create a book cover competition.
On Monday the author Dawn McMillan visited Valley. She shared her fantastic books. We learnt what we could to to be writers and went back to class to practice which was to write really quickly for 5 minutes to get our ideas down. Then to read out loud to ourselves or a soft toy so we hear what it sounds like
