Imagine our surprise to receive an email saying we could join some other schools for some more personal ballet lessons. On Monday the instructor Lauren came into Room 11 via zoom. It was so much fun.
Room 11 went for a walk on Monday to Roulston Park to have a look at the site. Then they came back to class and used google to choose some equipment and make a slide with a buddy. They voted on their favourite equipment. Then they worked really hard to desgin their own ultimate playgrounds. We can't wait to see what the new playground looks like...
Most days we go outside for Nature Everyday. On this beautiful Autumn day we went out and found some beautiful natural materials and made a stunning nature necklace. Imagine the children's suprise when a kereru came to watch, then it pooped which was so exciting...
This took a whole block as the children had to tie all their things on. Some went home and some stayed on our Nature Everyday table. What a wonderful time...
The children had to write a recount about an experience. What better experience than to make and fly some paper planes. Have a look at how much fun they had...

in with their clothes on in the most unusal ways and some extra accessories.
They had fun finding the talking toys around the room that had escaped.
I said 'Good Night' to all of them in the morning which caused heaps of giggles.
Then our whole timetable and lots of things around the room were upside down.

Room 11 is so excited to be working with the developers of Roulstone Park and the Skate Park to upgrade it. We have started this week making our own designs for a park. Next week we will be having a zoom meeting with the developer to discuss some more ideas. Watch this space...
