Week 8 - Get Well

 Josephine was away as she had an operation on her eye.  We made her a get well card that I delivered.  We hope you come back to school soon.

Week 8 - Kapa Haka visit to the daycare

Meela and Oliver represented Room 11 and Valley School at a visit to the daycare with the Kapa Haka group.  They were so excited to come back and share their costumes with Room 11.  We were so proud of them.

Week 7 - Matariki with our buddy class

 On Friday we went along to our buddy class.  We watched a clip about Matariki.

Then the children made black play dough with stars to represent the Matariki stars.

Week 6 - Support Staff Week

 Look at these absolutely beautiful cards made for our wonderful support staff.  The children worked with a buddy to create them.  I know they were absolutely appreciated. 

Week 5 - Samoan Language Week

 This week is Samoan Language Week.  The children learnt a sasa...

They also learnt about Siapo, the traditional cloth making in Samoa.

On Friday Room 11 hosted the Middle School Assembly.  Oliver and Hana did and amazing job as presenters.

Then Room 11 presented the Sasa to the middle school.  Such a awesome moment...
