 This term the children have been hard at work completing homework projects.  These are the ones that were shared with the class.

Week 10 - Sneak Peak

Week 10 - Plays

 For the past couple of weeks instead of working in our normal reading groups the children have been in a group learning a play.  They have learnt all theses things...

How to be part of a play
Read your part. Make sure you follow along so you know when it is your turn.	Practice Practice  Practice
Read your part with expression.  Characters voice, read the punctuation.
Read your part with expression and act. Follow the instructions in the book.  How would the character feel?  How would the character sound?  Use your face and body to match your words.
Organise the props and costumes.
Perform the play.	Perform

This week the children performed the play.  Here they are in their costumes...  They did such an amazing job.

The children drew their name and then some shape pictures.  They used a right angle monster to count how many right angles there were in their picture.

Week 7 - Students on Track V8's

What an awesome time we had at Students on Track at the final V8 racing in Pukekohe.  Here are some memories..

Next we found an amazing car.  It was as bright as the full moon. By Maaike.

When we were going across the bridge to the pit a race car zoomed under us.  It was so loud! By Zac
